To accompany Circle of Tales, Puppetcraft are offering an African Music Workshop for all the family (aged 6 and over) which will form part of the afternoon's show!

The workshop will be led by Chartwell Dutiro, a Zimbabwean master-musician, now living in Devon. His speciality instrument is the mbira - an ancient African instrument, made from a plank of wood with metal prongs that are plucked by thumbs and finger, that produces a sparkling, melodic sound. Chartwell has been playing this instrument since he was 4 and he has toured the world playing it.

This workshop is suitable for anyone aged 6 and over (including parents, grandparents and guardians!) and will give you a chance to sing and play instruments to become a musical part of the show. Families are encouraged to do the workshop together.
