Norwich Puppet Theatre - the Ideal Venue for your Special Day

Whether your special day is a wedding, a civil partnership, a renewal of vows or a naming ceremony, Norwich Puppet Theatre offers a unique setting for you and your guests.

The Theatre is in the converted Grade 1 listed church of St James, and offers two distinct options for your ceremony. 

The Main Auditorium offers the ceremony on our stage with seating for any number of guests up to 100. The setting  is a blend of mediaeval tradition with the excitement and style of a professional theatre. 

The Octagon Studio is ideal for smaller and more intimate gatherings of up to 30 people in a more contemporary setting.

In addition to whichever room you choose for your ceremony the foyer area and grounds around the church are available for you and your guests for photographs and to mingle.
