Red Riding Hood: For children aged 4+
Please note: Teacher Resources are at bottom of page
Red Riding Hood is Norwich Puppet Theatre's exciting new production in collaboration with acclaimed children's theatre director and designer, Peter O'Rourke.
The show is a lively re-telling of the traditional folktale drawing on the story’s origins in the oral tradition and versions by Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm. The performance combines inventive staging with a rich mix of puppetry and songs which will delight all ages.
Red Riding Hood premiered as Norwich Puppet Theatre's Christmas 2011 show! The show opened at Norwich Puppet Theatre for school-only performances on Monday 12th December 2011 and after a fantastic week of full-house schools shows, Red Riding Hood went public with a special gala launch on Saturday 17th December at 7.30pm.
Red Riding Hood is currently on tour to schools throughout February and March 2012. All available dates have now sold, however the show will return in Summer 2012. We will also have new productions available throughout 2012 which will incorporate school visit and touring opportunities, so watch this space!
