There is little to beat the experience of seeing a piece of live Theatre. Norwich Puppet Theatre productions are available for performance at the Theatre or at your school or venue.

Workshops
Our puppet making workshops offer a great opportunity for children to explore their creativity and create a character of their own invention.
The first part of all our making workshops is guided, step-by-step process to ensure that the basic puppet form/skeleton is made, thereafter the children decide on the materials to use to give their puppets individual characteristics and costumes.
Our standard making workshop is aimed at children aged 5 years and over. The session lasts 90 minutes and is offered either at the Theatre venue or at your own school.
We offer a variety of extended workshop sessions which incorporate more time to sculpt the puppet head or time at the end to develop characters.
In addition to our workshops for children, we also offer sessions for adults and pride ourselves on tailoring all our workshop sessions to meet your requirements.
'Show and Tell' presentation
During this hour long session we present and explore the wonderful variety of puppet forms using examples from the Puppet Theatre’s own collection of puppets to illustrate the different types of puppet, their method of construction and operation.
This is a great introduction to puppetry which incorporates time for questions and answers and lots of opportunities to have a go at using the puppets.
